Family Photographer - Ithaca, NY

Hey everyone! My name is Tera Coates and I am the owner & photographer of Reed Photography.

I am located in Trumansburg, NY in the heart of the Finger Lakes region. I enjoy road trips and visiting new places, so if you're not in my local area don't hesitate to reach out. I'd love to come out and work with you!

I am a busy stay at home mom of two boys. The older one always racing around on his 4 wheeler and the younger one being a little rascal at all times. During the Summer we spend most of our weekends camping at the local NYOA series Harescramble races that take place over central New York. Being a race mom and boy mom definitely keeps me on my toes, but I wouldn't trade it for anything!

My specialty is in child and family portraits. I love capturing a child's genuine smile and personality as they explore. I'm not afraid to get a little silly or lay in the grass to get that perfect shot! I understand that not every child is outgoing and may need time to warm up to the camera and that is perfectly fine! I do my best to engage with each child and get them feeling comfortable at the start of each session and will take as long as needed to get the job done! I am also available for weddings and bourdoir sessions! I also host multiple themed mini sessions throughout the year in Ithaca, NY.
